FIRM OVERVIEW


    W. David Friesenhahn is a native of south central Texas. He received his bachelor's degree in American Studies from Rice University in Houston, and his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

    W. David Friesenhahn understands how a prosecutor's office works because he learned on the inside. Before starting his private practice, he was an Assistant Texas Attorney General for that office's Criminal Law Enforcement Division. He also served as First Assistant County Attorney for Comal and Guadalupe Counties. Mr. Friesenhahn was involved in handling literally thousands of criminal cases. He now brings his wealth of experience, both in defense and prosecution, to the service of his clients.

    Now in private practice, W. David Friesenhahn devotes his practice to criminal defense . He has practiced in every type of state criminal court, from traffic court to the highest criminal court in Texas - the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. He is a former President of the Comal County Bar Association and is currently a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
